A few weeks ago, our Nursery Manager Jo was able to listen to the story of a little boy called Oliver who tragically lost his life as a result of choking. The Oliver Steeper Foundation was then created to raise awareness. Our incredible Franchise have supported The Oliver Steeper Foundation with the commitment of providing all the Banana Moon’s in the network with a LifeVac. What is LifeVac?
LifeVac is a non-invasive, portable airway clearance device designed to help in the event of a choking emergency. While our team is trained in paediatric first aid and knows how to perform traditional choking interventions such as back blows and abdominal thrusts, LifeVac provides an additional, potentially life-saving tool should those methods not work.

Why We Chose LifeVac:
Choking can happen quickly and unexpectedly, especially with young children who are still developing their eating and chewing skills. While such incidents are rare, having LifeVac available gives us greater confidence in being prepared for any situation.
