Supporting School Readiness Together

The workshop provided an opportunity for parents and carers to learn more about what “school readiness” really means and how we can work together to help children feel confident, capable, and emotionally prepared for their next big adventure.

During the session, we shared practical ideas and useful information around developing independence skills, communication and language, emotional wellbeing, early literacy and numeracy, and building positive routines at home. Families were also able to discuss any questions or concerns they may have about the transition to school.

Using the Banana Moon Curriculum areas of Me, Us, Challenge, Imagination, and Communication, we explored how everyday experiences and play-based learning help children develop the key skills they need to thrive in a school environment.

We are committed to supporting every child and family throughout this transitional period and value the strong partnerships we build with parents and carers. Thank you to everyone who attended the workshop and contributed to such a positive and informative session.
